Family Life at Meadow Park

Family is a big word and encompasses all aspects of family life.Family Life provides a nurturing climate of support to strengthen and develop all types of families…the families of the congregation, the congregational family as a whole, and the families of the community. Family Life is interwoven throughout all of our ministries.

Family Camp- April/May

Meals are always special at Family Camp. The annual setting for this event is Camp Marengo, 45 minutes north of Columbus. This is a beautiful wooded setting with a small stream just right for “creeking.” Families of all types participate in this time of recreation and focus on understanding God’s work in family units. It’s a unique opportunity to meet new friends, explore the beauty of God’s creation, share around a campfire, and discover the tender signs of spring in the woods. If you are interested in attending Family Camp through Meadow Park Church contact the church office.

Parenting Groups and Seminars

Through Meadow Park’s Small Group Ministries, groups focusing on parenting topics are developed as needed. In the past several years, groups have included Single Parents, Step-families, Parents of Adolescents, Parents of School-agers, Parents of Preschoolers, and Parents with Special Needs Children. Ongoing guidance is available to individuals with interest in forming community groups for support and education. Contact the church office at 614-451-8745 to inquire about available parenting groups or seminars.
