Women's Christmas Tea & Silent
Auction
Saturday, December 2—1:30pm–3:30pm
Start planning now—helpers are needed! Create or donate
an item(s) for the Silent Auction. This is an opportunity
to participate in the “Christ’s Birthday Observance
Offering.” If you want to donate an item, but don’t
know where to begin, contact Judi Rutledge or Mary Rhoads.
This fund-raiser is sponsored by the national office of
Women of the Church of God and is the only fund-raiser for
womens’ ministry each year. Proceeds support the worldwide
missions of the Church of God.
Designing
Women
Spend the evening with friends while you work on a current
craft or
hobby. Bring your craft/hobby and supplies, a snack to share,
and be
ready to enjoy the evening. We will order pizza or you can
bring your
own supper; beverages provided. Come for the entire evening,
or
whatever amount of time fits your schedule. Bring a friend
along with
you!

Women's Friendship Groups
that Meet September – June
Bookworms
Meets at 7:30 pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in a member’s
home. The group reads a selected inspirational book each
month and meets to discuss items and issues the author presents.
Supplemental and related materials are often incorporated
in the evening’s discussion. A time of fellowship
follows the discussion.
Tuesday Bible Study
Meets at 10:00 am –
11:30 am on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at the
church. A group for women of all ages, we share in Bible
study and prayer, in our joys and in our concerns. Childcare
is available and transportation can be arranged for those
who need it.
Wednesday Bible Study
Meets at 9:30 am –11:00
am the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at the church.
Our goal is to become women of excellence for the honor
and glory of God through related studies. Nursery care provided
for young children.
Friendship & Missions Studies
Meets at 7:30 pm on the 1st Thursday of each month in a
member’s home. This group follows programs published
by the national office for Women of the Church of God to
promote spiritual and personal growth through stewardship
opportunities, geographical studies, fellowship and support.
Women's Annual Events
Christmas Tea * December
Share a cup of tea while enjoying old and new friendships
with the women of Meadow Park and their guests. A traditional
silent auction is also a part of our celebration.
Summer Refresher * August
Our annual salad and dessert buffet where new group studies
are introduced. This special evening takes place in one
of our homes.
Additional special opportunities
are also promoted and developed throughout the year, including
conferences and day trips.
