No matter what
your age is...
no matter where you come from...
no matter who you are...
there is a place for you at
Meadow Park Church of God.
You’ll meet a great mix of friendly people, hear relevant
messages,
be part of compelling ministries, and much more.
Come as you are, be who God is calling you to be
–we’ve got a place for you.
Based on the vision, mission, and leader’s
covenant, the purpose of Connections Ministry is to provide
leadership and support so that all newcomers and members may
find their place of connection, to be nurtured and to serve.
Worship +2 – this simply
means that we would like Meadow Park to be a place where everyone
participates in worship + a place
of nurture where you can grow in Christ +
a place of service where you can serve others. Connections
ministry is the responsibility of all staff and leaders.
The components of Connections Ministry:
Welcome: Generate an atmosphere
of warmth, welcome and acceptance for all. This component
includes greeters, ushers, welcome center ministry, and Newcomer’s
Connections Class.
Discover: Provide opportunities
for people to discover their spiritual gifts, passion, and
personal style as a way to connect people to ministries and
other people.
Connect: Develop and maintain
a system to support the matching of people with specific ministries.
Equip: Training and mentoring
for anyone interested in connecting with a particular ministry
based upon the discovery of their spiritual gifts, passion
and personal style.
Recognize: Coordinate and provide
opportunities to recognize the service and ministry involvement
of those who have connected to ministries here or outside
of Meadow Park.
