About Meadow Park

Meadow Park is a community of believers with a mission to live as followers of Jesus Christ, connecting and growing in relationships with God, with His family, and with the people He misses most. We are an autonomous congregation affiliated with Church of God Ministries, Anderson IN. We are a 7-day-a-week church open to a variety of ministries and community events.

Meadow Park Church of God was founded in 1965 as a result of a vision conceived by the Fourth Avenue Church of God to reach the growing communities of Northwest Columbus.  That vision remains the driving force of our fellowship amidst the dramatic change and continued growth of these surrounding communities. 

In the years since its inception, the vision of Meadow Park has been expressed with different words and ideas  - all reflecting the core vision and all striving for relevance within their unique contexts.  For the past number of years that expression has been:

To Know Christ, Grow in Christ, Care as Christ, and Share Christ’s Love Unconditionally.

As we move toward the future, we recognize that the future is rooted in the past and that we are entering a season of intensive concentration on the fourth component of our missional mandate – to Share Christ’s Love Unconditionally.

The clear and compelling vision of the future to which God is calling us strives to identify and express a picture of that future and what it will look like in the coming decade.
