Meadow Park Lay Pastors

Can the Pastors Do It All?
In a church the size of Meadow Park, definitely not!

That’s why we show that we “care as Christ cares” through the Lay Pastor Ministry.

Meadow Park Lay Pastors strive to keep PACE
Lay Pastors have committed to:
Pray for people; make themselves
Available in times of need; make regular
Contacts; and be an
Example.

Do you need a Lay Pastor? Contact Pastor Bob Mathis rmathis@meadowpark.org, the staff liason for the Lay Pastor Ministry at Meadow Park Church of God. The leadership team consists of Ann & Ron Norfolk, and Susan & David Ryder.

Lay Pastors have four Continuing Education sessions each year, usually focusing on the four aspects of Lay Pastor Ministry: Pray, be Available, make Contacts, and be an Example. Click here for next scheduled session date and times.

Lay Pastors Picnic 2007
Lay Pastor Annual Picnic
Tuesday, June 26
Fancyburg Park.
Please join us for our Lay Pastors AnnualLay Pastor's Picnic Picnic. This picnic is for Lay Pastors and their families. We will gather at 6:00 p.m. and plan to eat at 6:30. We always have a great time. Remember—the more, the merrier!

Lay Pastors and their families enjoy a time of fun and fellowship at the June Lay Pastor Picnic.

Our goal is for every person at Meadow Park to have a Lay Pastor. Many of our families are still waiting for a dedicated person or couple who will commit to serve as their Lay Pastor. If you are one of those families who do not have a lay pastor, please contact one of the lay pastor leaders listed above.
